Have you known anyone willing to experience pain for vanity’s sake? Did the outcome justify the means?
Have you known anyone willing to experience pain for vanity’s sake? Did the outcome justify the means? As a matter of fact, I know someone who is willing to experience pain for vanity's sake. One of my friends in Hong Kong that I knew since I was an elementary schooler decided that he would go to boot camp last year to show that he is tough in his school and to be known as the first person to go to boot camp in his school. After going to boot camp, he actually said that even though it was the most painful experience he has ever had in his whole life, he would like to go again because he has learned in boot camp. To be honest, I am willing to experience pain but not for vanity's sake. The same friend told me to go to boot camp during the summer, which I will because he has learned a lot and how to deal with the hard things in life. Even boot camp will be painful it will be an experience for me to remember.
What is the author's purpose?
Question of the day. "What is the author's purpose?" The author's main purpose when writing a story, novel or poem is to mostly to persuade people to believe in something, and to entertain with drama or comedy, or to give those reading something to think about.

Question #1 What makes an incident in an individualistic worth retelling?
What makes an incident in an individualistic worth retelling? There are a lot of answers to this question. One answer can be something that has happened to you that may surprise other people. For example, one teacher in our school, who teaches physical education in the British School, served in the British Army and had nearly been killed a few times. He was involved in a car crash where the car was flying in mid-air and was shot twice but still survived. Another answer can be something where a band or person that you like does bad things that you never realized. For example, Gun's N' Roses had their concert in Seoul, Korea a few years ago. Out of the band, I liked Axel Rose a lot. After going to his concert and waiting for an hour for the whole band to appear, the newspaper said that he was smoking "pot". After reading this I was struck and in shock that my favorite singer in my favorite band smokes "pot". These stories and events that people talk about and eventually find the dark side of it may make an individualistic talk about it to his friends, families, and relatives.
